Nobody could have predicted how turbulent the past months would be. So many otherwise stable factors have become disrupted, leading to uncertainty which can easily become paralysing. But that is our worst-case scenario. We need to move on, building on our assets, ‘our people' and on our abilities. In close cooperation with customers, suppliers and all Wagenborg people we look back on 2021 with satisfaction. As we move into 2022 and hope to continue this positive vibe, here is a look back on some stories that moved our company last year.
Wagenborg Offshore has signed an agreement for the deployment of a walk to work emergency response and rescue vessel (W2W ERRV). This fourth walk to work vessel in the Wagenborg fleet will be operated by Wagenborg Offshore as a standby and support vessel for inspection and maintenance of unmanned platforms in the southern North Sea.
Recently, Wagenborg has shipped various cranes to Georgia, Sweden and Jamaica. This project cargo was loaded in the port of Rotterdam on the vessels Hestia, Sprinter and Cito.
After a few weeks of regular maintenance the MV Finnborg has been taken into service again. During this docking period in Estonia, the 13.500 DWCC vessel received various ‘green’ updates.
Last weekend, Wagenborg arrived in the port of Rotterdam with a deck cargo of cascos. The project cargo was loaded on the mv Aragonborg in China. The mv Aragonborg is one of the a-class vessels in the Wagenborg fleet.
From October 26th until October 27th 2021 Offshore Energy 2021 will take place at the RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Offshore Energy 2021 is one of the leading offshore exhibitions in Europe.
Last weekend the ‘Castoro Sei’ arrived in Eemshaven under agency of Wagenborg. Assisted by multiple tugs, including the Wagenborg tugs Waterstraat and Waterstroom – the pipe laying platform was moored successfully at the Wagenborg terminal.
As sustainability is of strategic and vital importance to Wagenborg, we clearly target our ambitions and intensively track progress against these targets. This report covers our social, safety and environmental performance and progress in 2020.
