From May 17th until May 19th 2022 Breakbulk Europe 2022 will take place at Ahoy Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Breakbulk Europe 2022 is the largest exhibition & educational forum in Europe addressing the needs of traditional breakbulk and project cargo logistics professionals.
Last week the pipe laying platform ‘Toro’ left Eemshaven for Turkey. The platform was assisted in the port and on the Ems by five tugs, including the Wagenborg tugs Waterstraat, Waterstroom and Waterman.
Last week Wagenborg Shipping placed an order at the Royal Niestern Sander shipyard for the construction of a sister ship of the Egbert Wagenborg and the Máxima. Wagenborg Offshore has taken its fourth walk-to-work vessel (w2w) into service as Koenigsborg. Koenigsborg is used as a standby and support vessel for inspection and maintenance of unmanned platforms in the southern north sea.
Wagenborg Offshore has signed a contract with Damen Shipyard and Ampelmann Operations for the operations of the world’s first Fast Crew Supplier. The scope of this agreement includes crew management, HSEQ and technical maintenance of the offshore vessel.
On January 26, the Baie-Comeau Port Corporation officially welcomed the MV Alaskaborg and her captain, Mr. Alexander Vavilin, who came to deliver 14,500 metric tons of anodes for Baie-Comeau.
