Full logistic scope for mobilization cable laying barge in Eemshaven

Within a time frame of seven weeks three barges will be connected and mobilized as one single cable laying barge. In addition another barge will be equipped with a cable tank.

With this project, Wagenborg again proves her added value in Eemshaven to the offshore wind industry. The combination of the Wagenborg in-house customs and agency services, crane rentals, towage services and an own shipyard result in cost-efficient mobilization projects: a one stop shop for cable logistics and storage.

The mobilization takes place at the Wagenborg terminal in Eemshaven. This terminal has a storage area of ??160,000 square meters and a quay length of over 1.500 meters. Its modern facilities and privileged location make it a popular base port for offshore wind projects. Wagenborg terminal Eemshaven has already supported various offshore windfarms in the North Sea with port logistic services.
