Americaborg welcomed as first vessel of 2023 in the port of Baie Comeau

Piloted by Captain Yuriy Ivanov and his crew, the majority of whom are from Ukraine, the ship has come a long way from the port of Lianyungang, China. She will be docked for a few days to unload her cargo, after which she will then spend a few weeks in the St. Lawrence and Great Lakes region for other deliveries.

To mark the occasion, Captain Ivanov was given a basket of local products for the crew. This gesture marked the solidarity and respect of the port authorities for the courage of Ukrainian sailors who are going through very difficult times.
