EasyMax: designed for sustainable and reliable transport
The unique design of the vessel was developed by Royal Wagenborg and Royal Niestern Sander in cooperation with a number of carefully selected partners. Our focus with this design was to meet clients’ need for significantly more efficient and reliable transportation.
With the EasyMax, Wagenborg has a relatively large vessel in terms of cargo intake and hold capacity but without any major increase in overall dimensions or tonnage. In addition, an energy-efficient propulsion system leads to extremely low fuel consumption and saves over 60% in CO2- emissions compared to her peer group. The hull shape has also been optimised for various different draughts, resulting in an ultra-low Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI).
