Today, the Carbon Destroyer 1 was transported successfully from the ship building yard of Royal Niestern Sander to the Dutch port of Delfzijl. This event marks another major step in the construction of the first European built dedicated offshore CO2 carrier.
In close cooperation with HEBO Maritiemservice, Wagenborg recently completed a unique transport project to support an important infrastructure development in Northern Norway.
Last week, a significant milestone was reached in the construction of Wagenborg’s sixth EasyMax at Royal Niestern Sander. The bow section was moved out of the assembly hall and placed outside, where it will continue to be outfitted before being joined with the stern section, bringing the ship closer to its final form.
